The City has owned the property at 108 Dunbar since April 2017. The property is the site of the Wyman School. On the site is the power plant which has deteriorated over the years in such a manor that the roof of the power plant has partially collapsed into the building making the building a danger.

Staff put out an RFP for the demolition of the power plant and received one bid from Dehn Demolition. The bid is in the amount of $24,400 and is within the expected demolition amount. If the bid with Dehn Demolition is accepted this evening, the company is prepared to begin work during the month of June.
